While vacationing in California The Hot Dog King (aka, Keith) could not resist conducting research by proxy for which we are thankful.We don't yet have his full report, but HDK (Hot Dog King) did send back images of his latest findings. Others images were ho-hum, but I couldn't resist sharing this photo.
This Hot Dog looks awesome (notice the side loaded bun that has been toasted) and the fries in the background look pretty darn tasty as well.
It's nearly midnight on the east coast and now I'm starving.

ReplyDeleteThe dog was a spicy sausage from Juicy's food stand at the Date Festival in Indio, California which is also the Riverside County Fair. Many kinds of dogs available from foot long corn dogs to fried dogs to dogs on a stick. Every where you looked were food stands. A new idea for dessert. Fried snickers bars. Yumm!
There you have it. HDK wrote in a seperate email that the fries were Curly Q fries. I'll find out how he liked the Hot Dog later.
No, I didn't miss the reference to the Fried Snickahs Bahs.
